Qaida with Tajweed

Learning Objectives:
This course is the first step towards learning to read Quran. It provides the basic knowledge and understanding necessary to properly read Quran. In this course student will learn to identify and pronounce Arabic alphabets, basic rules, different symbols etc

Topics:

  • Correct identification of Quranic (Arabic) alphabets
  • Pronunciation/compounding of Quranic (Arabic) alphabets
  • The pronunciation of Huroof-e-Muqataa't (those letters in Quran which comes in the beginning of few suraa's e.g., Surat Al Baqarah)
  • The expressions of Quranic Arabic letters (Airabs; e.g., damma, kasra, fatha)
  • The expressions of Quranic Arabic letters (Two Airabs together; e.g., two dammas, two kasras, two fathas)
  • The pronunciation of outstretched or prolonged Quranic Arabic Letters
  • The expressions of Quranic Arabic letters "Sukoon"
  • The expressions of Quranic Arabic letters "Tashdeed"
  • The pronunciation of Quranic Arabic letters "Tashdeed with Sukoon"
  • The pronunciation of Quranic Arabic letters "Tashdeed with Tashdeed"
  • The pronunciation of outstretched or prolonged Quranic Arabic Letters with "Tashdeed"



Nazra with Tajweed

 

Learning Objectives:
After completing the Qaida, the next step is Nazra. In this course, students learn to read the Quran verbally by using the rules of tajweed.

Benefits (Allah willing):

  • Recite Quran correctly
  • After taking Nazra classes student will be able to start memorizing Quran which is the most beneficial aspect of Nazra
  • After completing Nazra classes student will be able to teach Quran to others


Topics:

  • Small suras will be the starting point for Nazra.
  • The rhythm of a child for recitation of Quran shall be increased gradually.
  • Once the student picks up the pace for Quran recitation, the Tajweed rules shall be presented to him/her so that these can be embedded in his recitation.


Duration:

  • The child of 4 – 10 years of age – 400 hours
  • The child of 6 – 15 years of age – 300 hours
  • The child of 15-25 years of age – 250 hours
  • The student above 25 years of age – 200 hours

 

Hifz-e-Quran with Tajweed

 

Learning Objectives:
To memorize the Quran in its entirety.

Benefits (Allah willing):

  • The primary benefit is that Hafiz-e-Quran has been selected by Allah subhan o talla as his Guard to Quran
  • According to a saying of Hazrat Muhammad (sallal laho alaihe wasallam), the heart where Quran has been saved, that heart and fire of hell cannot be combined.
  • On the day of judgement, Hafiz-e-Quran will be the source of his selected Muslims to Jannat.


Duration:

  • 1 to 2 years (depending upon student’s capability)

  • RAM - Minimum 256 MB; Recommended: 512 MB or above
